Our men and women coming home from Iraq have experienced unprecedented emotional and physical assault. They deserve all we can offer to assist their return to health and a happy supported life. At present veteran benefits and private insurance do not cover acupressure and other services considered alternative or complimentary. WCV through donations of time, money and energy from participating therapists and concerned individuals around the country seeks to make these services available to veterans and their families.
Mission Statement:
WCV is a grass roots program to provide acupressure and other body/mind strengthening programs to veterans and their families regardless of their financial ability. WCV can not change the experiences veterans have had or the challenges they face, but can help them develop the physical and mental resources to return to healthy, happy and productive lives at home and in the community.
“Physically I relax, mentally I calm down – I’m never that calm unless drug induced or under anesthesia –I never feel better than when walking out your door – That’s off the cuff, that’s real, the way it is” phone quote 1/10/08

Vision statement:
Every veteran and family member is treated with respect and lovingly supported in their journey home. And we as a nation and as individuals honor the sacrifices they and their families have made.
“After working with WCV for 3-4 months I’ve found acupressure and cranio/sacral therapy a highly effective method for dealing with stress in its many forms – physically I sleep much better and my neck, shoulders and back are pain free. My head feels much more clear and I cope with anxiety and fear without the need for prescription drugs or other chemicals. Acupressure and cranio/sacral therapy have immense potential for repairing damage incurred from life in general and in particular for men and women in military service.”
